Hello All!
If you have not already heard, the exciting Business Lab news
is that Money Works are moving in to take over half of the shop. Money works
are a Newham Council initiative, an ethical and affordable alternative to
high-cost short-term credit firms, who exploit residents with extortionate
rates of interest. The Lab is set to become even busier!
The Business Lab has been functioning as usual, with all of our
lovely Business Lab members keeping me busy and making good use of the wonderful
Lab, even though we have had some work taking place preparing for Money Works
moving in. There is still a lot to be done, so keep up with the progress of the
Business Lab right here!
I have more good news, all my exams are now complete and I
have passed with flying colours. I have been feeling very proud as all of my functional
skills exams are done and dusted. That means I can concentrate on completing all
of my units so I can have my portfolio completed by early January. That will
mean the end of my one year apprenticeship. I shall keep you posted and let you
know how it’s going!
